Coronavirus (COVID-19) A brief message from Dr. Hartwell and Dr. Doi:

Aloha to our patients,

In the wake of this virus, we have all had to make changes. We are fortunate to already have IQ Air filters, as they remove ultrafine particles like bacteria, viruses and mercury vapor from the air. Other areas, however, have been changed.

Some improvements we have made in the wake of this include:

Screening – We screen and take the temperature of every person (patient and employee) that comes through our doors. The attached questionnaire can be printed, signed and brought with you or you can fill it out upon arrival. 

Virtual Waiting Room – Upon arrival, text your full name to (808) 987-6737 to check-in. We will call or text when we are ready for your screening and appointment. 

Distancing – We have less patients scheduled, so there are less patients and have a re-organized waiting room. Also there are no books or magazines as they can transmit disease. 

Barriers – Plexiglass barriers will soon be installed at the front desks.

Sterilization – In addition to our state-of-the-art sterilization protocol, we are wiping public surfaces throughout the day.

PPE –  Our clinical team will have the appropriate safety equipment – N95 masks, shields, gloves and gowns.

The safety and well-being of our patients and employees is our primary concern. We will continue to monitor the status of COVID-19 nationally and within our community and keep you up-to-date regarding our plans to reopen for business as usual.
